Day 5 was the last working day for Wzrd. They didn’t have much they had to do, work wise. So we relaxed at the hotel during the day. We got ubereats Divorare for lunch. I tried their “Diverso”, and Wzrd got their “Tradizionale”. Mine had prosciutto cotto, stracciatella cheese and truffle. \ud83e\udd24 urgh Sooooo good. Wzrd’s had prosciutto crudo, crema di parmigiano, tomato and arugula. It was much more basic, mine was definitely better. But nothing beats the Come A Casa sandwich. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We had tickets to go to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda, where they housed the Guernica, Picasso’s iconic anti-war painting. I had no prior knowledge about this painting, Chris told Wzrd about it. But I’m always down for museums, so we went to check it out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum was small, smaller than I had imagined. They had a bunch of art from this artist name, N\u00e9stor Mart\u00edn-Fern\u00e1ndez de la Torre. His art wasn’t really my taste, but it was cool to see. We also saw a bunch of Picassos, which turned out, also really wasn’t my taste. LOL It’s just too abstract. I just couldn’t really understand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I stood in front of the Guernica. And I still couldn’t understand it. I kept over hearing people saying how “powerful” it is … maybe I’m just not as artistically trained and couldn’t feel it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I did discovery that I’m much more of a Salvador Dal\u00ed person. I really enjoyed his pieces and felt like I could stare at them all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And This piece in particular really caught my eyes. This one was called : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I couldn’t tell you what it is, but I just really liked it. “Memento Mori” : “remember that you must die” feels a bit morbit, but I feel like it is a good reminder to live everyday to its fullest. To be reminded of our morality, so that we live with purpose and intent. Maybe it’s its subliminal message of mindfulness. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I had such a great time at the museum. Afterwards we ate at a random place in the square right outside of the museum. Then we went to another dinner with some of Wzrd’s team. This place was not good lol I had their seafood risotto, which was suppose to be one of their star dishes, and it just fell so flat on its face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I was so glad their on-site week was finally ending. I was in much need of some Wzrd and me time, and we were headed to Barcelona the next day. A place that’s been on my bucket list for – ever! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
