Finally the first day I had Wzrd all to myself! Pasquale headed back to Madrid, and Wzrd and I had another two full days in Barcelona by ourselves. Since we had done all the touristy things already, it was a relaxing day for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to go back to Shirobo for lunch. I really wanted to try their xiaolongbao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turned out to be the perfect lunch idea. We ordered their original xiaolongbao, I got their dan dan noodle, and Wzrd got their rice dish. Everything was fantastic! It was probably one of the best dan dan noodles I’ve had. Their xiaolongbao was also a thumbs up! I was really surprised. The wrapping was paper thin, and the soup in the bao was very flavorful. It rivaled DTF, may have even been better. The only thing they did not have was the dipping sauce for the xiaolongbao. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a perfect lunch, Wzrd and I took off wandering. We were near the expensive shopping district, and the famous Casa Batll\u00f3. It was really hot during the day so we headed back to the hotel. We had a balcony in our room, so we got some drinks and just relaxed on the balcony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For dinner, we decided to check out the mussels place we kept smelling from our balcony. Bless Wzrd, he’s not a seafood eater, but he went for and with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got myself a bucket of mussels, and Wzrd for their fried fish and chips. The mussels were good, but not great. Wzrd’s fish was good, but not great. Do you see a theme here? Overall, it wasn’t somewhere I would recommend, or revisit again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
