Okay, so since we got the new MDX we’re working on selling the old one. But the old one needed a few things before we could sell it. One of which was a new windshield. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I took it down to Safelite to get a replacement. The first time I took it in, they couldn’t replace it. Said something about the camera bracket. So they ordered new glass and I was to bring in the car again later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second time I took it in, they ran into the same issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The third time I took it in, they ran into the same issue still. So they called me and said they’re ordering glass from new distributor and will arrive same day. Lo’n behold, the glass from the new distributor also didn’t work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They’ve gone through 5 pieces of aftermarket glass at this point and recommended we start a claim with insurance to get OEM glass. So we did that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, they finally got the OEM glass on, but could not re-calibrate it. So they sent us to Acura to get it re-calibrated. We went to Acura, and they also couldn’t get it re-calibrated. Then out of no where Acura is not saying , you need a new camera, which is going to cost $5k. Even though they were not able to pull a code from the camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You know I absolutle HATE Acura Seattle. They are literally the worst dealership ever. They’re so dishonest and always up-charge on service. \/ugh <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, after spending a few hours being a hot potato between insurance and Safelite. I have a new appointment to take the car back to Safelite for them to check out my camera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This has gone on for way longer than I anticipated. I just want to sell the car … <\/p>\n\n\n\n
