Our 2nd full day in Barcelona was the most exciting day for me. We went to the Basílica de la Sagrada Família! This cathedral had been in construction since 1882 and construction is still on going. They say it should be complete by 2026.

This was one of the most beautiful architecture I’ve ever seen. I was absolutely in awe of the details. I loved every part of it even though I’m not religious. I learned more about Antoni Gaudí than I ever intended to. We had a tour of the tower of nativity, but we didn’t get to go because their elevator was broken. ( T.T I was pretty upset, but what can you do?! /sigh ).
After the basilica we went and got Vietnamese food (LOL) Hey they got good reviews and we definitely needed another break from all the Spain food. Surprisingly it was pretty good, not as good as what we have in Seattle, but good enough in Barcelona.

It was Pasquale’s last night in Barcelona, so we grabbed dinner with him. We ended up at this “American” wing bar. They call it a wing bar, but there were wings! It was all drummets!! I was not happy lol I don’t like the drummet part … I wanted wings. It was a sad ending to an awesome beginning of a day. But that’s all apart of traveling, not everywhere you eat will be amazing and hits the spot.
